The demand for participating in staking on the Ethereum Proof of Stake (PoS) network is reaching unprecedented levels. According to data from validatorqueue, since the end of December 2025, the number of ETH waiting to activate validators has surpassed 3.3 million tokens. This surge clearly reflects the increasing attractiveness of PoS staking within the Ethereum community.
Staking Service Providers Accelerate Investment
According to a report from BlockBeats, large-scale staking by services such as BitMine and other Ethereum treasury organizations has become a key factor driving the high increase in queue numbers. These operators continuously lock more ETH into the PoS network to capitalize on staking reward rates. The estimated time for validators in this queue to be activated has risen to 57 days and 20 hours, indicating congestion in the validator onboarding process on the network.
Exit Queue Remains Low
Contrasting sharply with the rising activation queue, the exit queue remains very low, with only 832 ETH waiting to leave the PoS network. The withdrawal process takes approximately 21 minutes, demonstrating high satisfaction among current stakers. This discrepancy suggests that demand to stake still significantly exceeds the number of withdrawals, reflecting strong confidence in the long-term prospects of PoS and Ethereum.
