Diplomatic channels between Venezuela and the United States remain active. In early February, Acting President Rodriguez met at the residence with the official representative of the American side, the chargé d’affaires Dogu, to discuss pressing issues in bilateral relations.

Meeting at the Presidential Residence

The meeting took place within the walls of the main government residence on February 2. According to information provided by the Venezuelan Ministry of News and Communication via social media, the dialogue was part of the established schedule of working contacts between the two countries. The presence of the U.S. representative indicates the continuation of official interaction despite existing political disagreements.

Focused Working Agenda

The Venezuelan Minister of Information confirmed that the meeting aimed to develop a bilateral working program. The negotiations covered cooperation within the framework of the established diplomatic agenda. This contact demonstrates both sides’ commitment to maintaining official communication channels and working towards mutually acceptable solutions on current issues in Venezuelan-American relations.
