First, it’s essential to understand the current candlestick pattern and price position. Opening Coinglass’s real-time dashboard, HYPE is currently quoted at $30.655, with a beautiful “big bullish candle” today that completely engulfs yesterday’s decline. From the chart, after touching a low of $28.69, the price quickly reversed in a V-shape. This rejection of further decline indicates extremely strong buying pressure below. We need to consider: is this rally a dead cat bounce or the start of a reversal? Looking at the volume, market activity is unusually lively, with both Xiao Cai and Xiao An exchanges’ trading volumes exceeding $380 million. The significant capital inflow suggests market consensus is re-forming.

Main capital flow analysis:

Top traders on Xiao An show a “long-short position ratio” of 1.6526. This is a highly valuable indicator. It means that among all top whales holding HYPE contracts, the long positions’ capital is 1.65 times the short positions’. Interestingly, the “account long-short ratio” for top traders is only 1.0551, and for ordinary users, it’s 1.0991. What does this imply? It indicates that most people (retail and large retail investors alike) have a neutral or hesitant outlook on HYPE’s future. However, a few super whales (smart money) holding massive funds are aggressively long, pushing the overall position ratio higher.
