Node Important Reminder
The Pi mainnet blockchain protocol is currently undergoing a series of upgrades. The first phase of the upgrade must be completed by February 15, 2026. All mainnet nodes are required to complete this upgrade step to maintain network connectivity. For more details, please refer to the official page:
Supplementary Official Upgrade Core Information
1. The first phase of this upgrade requires nodes to upgrade from version v19.1 to v19.6. The original deadline of February 12 has been extended to February 15 due to network congestion and technical issues. Nodes that do not complete the upgrade will be disconnected from the network and will be unable to participate in consensus validation, block production, and other core operations.
2. This upgrade is the first step in gradually upgrading the Pi mainnet from v19 to the Stellar protocol v23. Future upgrade plans include upgrading to v19.9 on February 27 and v20.2 on March 12. All upgrades must be performed sequentially; skipping versions is prohibited.
3. Different nodes have different upgrade methods: Desktop nodes (Windows/macOS) will automatically trigger the upgrade when started; Linux Node CLI version will automatically update without operation. If auto-update is not enabled, run the command p-node update-protocol to complete the upgrade.
4. This upgrade mainly optimizes network stability, increases transaction throughput, and adds automatic migration scripts, as well as optimizes PostgreSQL connection counts, laying a foundation for future decentralized application ecosystems and Pi DEX launch. $PI
