Ethereum co-founder Vitalik states that he plans to fully return to decentralized social networks by 2026, calling on the industry to rethink the essence of "social." He emphasizes that quality social interactions should help users discover high-quality information and rational consensus, rather than operating around engagement rates and speculative tokens. The core value of decentralization lies in shared data layers and full competition, not simply "adding tokens to social."

Vitalik reveals that he has been using multi-protocol social platforms like Lens and Farcaster through Firefly, and frankly states that most tokenized social models are difficult to sustain.
In the context of declining narratives and a return to product value, is decentralized social truly approaching a turning point? Which path do you prefer?
