Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 18th, according to CCTV International News, U.S. President Trump announced via social media that due to the Greenland issue, starting from February 1st this year, all goods exported from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland to the United States will be subject to a 10% tariff. By June 1st, the tariff will be increased to 25%. This tariff must be paid continuously until an agreement is reached on the “comprehensive and thorough purchase of Greenland.”

In his post, Trump stated that these eight countries “have all gone to Greenland, with unclear purposes. To protect global peace and security, strong measures must be taken to quickly and unambiguously end this potential threat.”

Trump also said, “The United States has been working for over 150 years to achieve this deal. Many presidents have tried and had valid reasons, but Denmark has always refused. Now, due to the ‘Golden Dome’ defense system and modern offensive and defensive weapon systems, the demand to acquire Greenland is especially urgent.”
