Miden exemplifies a distinct approach in crypto: ship the product first, then fundraise to scale. The Polygon-derived project recently closed a $25 million funding round aimed at accelerating performance and privacy capabilities for institutional clients. This capital infusion targets enhanced throughput and confidentiality features—critical elements for enterprise adoption in decentralized finance. The execution-first model distinguishes Miden from projects that often raise before delivering concrete solutions, positioning it as a compelling case study in how thesis validation can drive investor confidence.

Ship first, then finance? Interestingly, data shows that the death rate of these "reverse financing" projects is actually higher, not lower. With $25 million poured in, let's see the institutional adoption rate, and revisit in half a year. Ironically, the projects that boasted "product first" back then now have never had a lower liquidation rate. Objectively speaking, the fundraising stories of Polygon series projects are always twice as fast as their technical progress. Come on, I bet this round of financing efficiency won't escape the historical curse either.

Launching products first and then refinancing—that's the right way to do it. Too many projects go the other way around, making a mess of everything.

Start with product development before refinancing; that's the right approach. It's much better than those PPT-based fundraising.

Start with product development before fundraising? This guy finally figured it out. It's much more reliable than those things that raise five rounds before even launching.

Doing product development first and then refinancing—this approach is truly clear-headed. Much better than those PPT fundraising experts, really.
