In the long run, with KERMIT, the key still depends on whether the governance mechanism can keep up. Technical growth alone is not enough; it also depends on community consensus and whether there are issues with the incentive design. The historical lessons are here: without a well-established decentralization framework, it’s easy to encounter problems later on.
