The performance of Sui in the past two years has indeed attracted a lot of attention. To explain why it is so fast, the core reasons are twofold: parallel execution and the design of the object model. This architecture allows transaction speeds to increase by an order of magnitude, with TPS easily reaching tens of thousands, accounts credited within seconds, and transaction fees almost negligible — which significantly improves user experience.

The developer experience is also worth mentioning. When writing smart contracts in the Move language, security is truly built-in, unlike some chains where pitfalls are easy to encounter. Especially in the DeFi and gaming scenarios, Sui’s asset model supports dynamic changes, greatly expanding the design space for gameplay, which is quite attractive for innovative applications.

In the overall L1 competition landscape, Sui’s technical combination is indeed quite interesting. Whether in terms of performance or developer friendliness, it has reached a very good level. If the ecosystem can keep up in the future, more projects are likely to migrate over. In the long run, the value of this direction remains quite clear.

actually, if you run a basic regression analysis on sui's tps claims vs actual settlement finality, the correlation matrix tells a different story than the marketing narrative.

Parallel execution + object model, this combination is truly amazing. Instant arrival with zero fees—who can top that? The Move language has built-in security, so you no longer have to worry about smart contract failures. If the ecosystem keeps up, Sui's rise is only a matter of time. TPS in the tens of thousands is really incredible. Using it is just so smooth. This is what an L1 should look like; everything else is just playing around.

The parallel execution system is indeed impressive; I've really been slowed down on other chains before. The built-in security of the Move language is amazing; it significantly reduces auditing costs. If the ecosystem can take off, Sui really has a chance. I'm just worried it might be another case of technical showmanship, and ultimately no one will use it. Ignoring transaction fees is a game-changer; finally, a chain has clarified this issue. The dynamic asset model... game developers will be thrilled, and the level of freedom has increased dramatically. TPS in the tens of thousands is no joke; account settlement in seconds is fantastic. That said, it still depends on whether a killer app will emerge later. Move is secure, but is the learning curve steep or not?

To be honest, Sui's parallel execution is really impressive, with instant transactions and negligible fees, but whether the ecosystem can keep up is the real key. I trust the security of the Move language; I just wonder if it will repeat Aptos's mistakes... Having tens of thousands of TPS is useless if no one uses it, so the main thing still depends on what the ecosystem can develop. Parallel execution is awesome, but whether it can truly be applied to DeFi depends on what follows. Instant transactions are indeed great, but if fees are zero, no one will maintain the network. How will this economic model evolve?

Parallel execution is indeed impressive, but the ecosystem is still a shortcoming. --- Having a high TPS is meaningless without killer applications; let's wait and see who can break through first. --- I trust the security of Move, but whether developers will truly migrate is another matter. --- Instant transactions with low fees are nothing new; the key is whether they can retain users. --- The asset model definitely gives game developers room for imagination, I agree with that. --- It feels like we're repeating the story of Solana back then—are we fast enough? --- Having an ecosystem that can keep up is the real joke; right now, they're still burning money on subsidies. --- The technical solutions are good, but where are the truly usable tools? --- Will the learning curve of the Move language discourage developers? No one has mentioned this.

Are the transaction fees almost negligible? I still feel like I have to pay them haha Sui is indeed fast, but there are still too few ecosystem projects The security of the Move language is truly impressive, with fewer pitfalls than Solidity Is TPS in the tens of thousands real, or just on paper? Parallel execution is quite effective, but it depends on how the maintenance costs will be in the future

A few tens of thousands of TPS sounds great, but how many projects can truly hold up? The key still depends on whether the ecosystem can support it. --- Parallel execution + object model combo is indeed powerful, with instant transactions and nearly zero fees... this is what user experience should look like. --- The built-in security of the Move language is a selling point, but contract audits cannot be skipped, don’t be fooled by the hype. --- DeFi and gaming scenarios indeed have great potential; it all depends on how many top projects can attract to build the ecosystem. --- It won't surpass Ethereum unless the ecosystem density truly improves; otherwise, it's just good-looking data. --- Even with high TPS, if the trading counterparties aren't deep enough, it's pointless. This is what I care about most—the foundation of asset allocation is liquidity. --- Writing contracts in Move is indeed more reassuring than Solidity, I agree. At least no need to worry about re-entrancy vulnerabilities every day. --- Technically, there's nothing to say, but I'm worried it might just become another "light-speed chain"—hot now, cold quickly.

Executing this set of things in parallel is indeed impressive, but the ecosystem is the key. No matter how advanced the technology is, without application it's all pointless.
