The short position indeed had some issues with the entry timing this wave, being a bit greedy. But to be honest, if the stop loss gets hit, it gets hit—consider it paying tuition. My previous long positions were doing pretty well, but I got shaken out by my own emotions, which is a common occurrence.
For traders, hitting the stop loss a few times is inevitable; the key is to manage the risk-reward ratio well. As long as this logical line remains intact, there shouldn't be major problems in the long run.
My approach for ETH is as follows: look for a re-entry to short around the 3150 rebound level, add to the position near 3180, with a stop loss set at 3210. The target range is 3100-3050; if it breaks down, it might head toward 2980.
In simple terms, control the risk, ensure the profit potential covers the potential loss—everything else is just details.

Greed is greed, after all, it's not like it's the first time paying tuition fees haha

Stop-loss is just a cost; not feeling distressed over it is the real fool.

Greedy and losing, bro. Emotional trading is the deadliest.

Greed is indeed the most deadly, and this loss is not unjustified.
Stop-loss is just stop-loss, as long as the long-term logic is sound.
I also want to take another look at this position in ETH; the 3150 level is indeed quite interesting.

Haha, this time I was indeed greedy, but stopping loss is just stopping loss. It's still better than holding onto a position.
