#数字资产市场动态 Ethereum approaches $3000, a liquidation storm may be brewing

Recently looked at some data from Coinglass, which is quite interesting. If Ethereum breaks through the $3000 threshold, the liquidation intensity of mainstream exchanges' net short positions could surge to around 762 million. In other words, those betting against Ethereum might be forced to close their positions, and the subsequent chain reaction is hard to predict.

But this market has never lacked duality. Conversely, if Ethereum drops below $2850, the bullish liquidation intensity could also reach 630 million. It’s a tense standoff.

A detail that needs clarification: liquidation intensity is not an exact measure of the amount of contracts pending liquidation, but more like a market pressure gauge. Each bar in the chart represents the impact weight of liquidations within different price ranges on the market — the thicker the bar, the more intense the liquidity fluctuation feedback when the price hits that level.

For traders, this set of data is a risk alert. When prices approach these key levels, the liquidation waves on both sides can easily amplify volatility. Whether chasing the rally or bottom-fishing, sudden changes in liquidity can cause unexpected shocks. At such times, mindset and risk management are more important than technical details.

$3000 is a threshold; shorts fear a breakdown, longs also fear a drop, really caught in the middle and being tortured.

Oh no, these liquidation figures are quite intense. Both sides are completely blocked.

Looking at these numbers makes me a bit anxious, 762 million in liquidation volume, just cut like that --- It's the same old story, both bulls and bears are laying bombs, just waiting to see who steps first --- Liquidation intensity = market pressure gauge, that analogy is perfect, it feels like it could explode at any moment --- Dancing between 3000 and 2850, my mindset almost couldn't handle it --- Risk control > technical analysis, this sentence hit me hard, so many people got wrecked because of greed --- Both sides have 600-700 million in liquidation volume? This market really is a zero-sum game --- The most terrifying moment is when liquidity suddenly changes, don’t ask me how I know --- Breaking 3000 or breaking 2850, anyway, either I make money or I lose

The 3000 hurdle, the bears are about to suffer heavy losses... but I'm still hesitant, caught between both sides.
