#稳定币 When I saw the news that Tether was planning to acquire Juventus, my first reaction was—here we go again. I've seen this playbook too many times.

A major institution suddenly announces a "grand plan," and the fan token JUV surges by 30%. And then? The major shareholder EXOR directly says they won't sell the next day. Isn't this script very familiar? First, create a hot topic, attract attention, and push up the price of related assets. Whether the deal goes through or not, retail investors are already on board.

The key is to think this through: As a stablecoin issuer, why would Tether want to acquire a football club? Is this really a sign of "financial stability"? Or is a financial institution supported by reserves starting to diversify into investments? This makes me a bit uneasy.

The core value of stablecoins lies in stability and credit backing. Now they want to put funds into a European football club—this isn't risk diversification, it's leverage. If the acquisition actually happens and funds flow into the sports industry, I will need to reassess what exactly supports this stablecoin.

My straightforward advice: Don't rush to follow this kind of "story-driven" big news. Observe and wait until the dust settles before making judgments. Since EXOR refused this time, there will be other "big moves" next time. The key to surviving long on the chain is not to be blinded by pretty narratives.
