In the NFT space, there's this common mindset: more features equal better experience. Teams keep adding new systems, new tools—makes the platform look cutting-edge, right? But here's the thing. Every new feature brings complexity. Every addition becomes another layer of distraction. You end up with bloated interfaces instead of streamlined ones.

This is exactly where the debate gets interesting. Some projects understand this trade-off; others don't. When you're building for NFT users, you've got to ask yourself: are you building for depth or for simplicity? Adding stuff for the sake of it often backfires. The best platforms aren't the ones with the most bells and whistles—they're the ones that nail the fundamentals and keep users focused.

That's right, but most projects simply don't listen. Stacking features every day is like trading cryptocurrencies; they think more is better, without considering the user experience.

To be honest, these NFT projects are just a scramble of feature stacking competitions, which ends up messing up the user experience.

ngl this is just feature bloat with extra steps. ran a statistical analysis on 47 failed nft platforms and the correlation between "feature count" and user retention was literally negative (p < 0.042). based observation tbh

That's so true. The trend of piling up features in NFT projects is really outrageous, and in the end, users can't find their way.
