It reminded me of the six and a half birds I raised this year🥹
Can't say it's heartbreaking, only that it's a scene of carnage
Started with two, felt pretty good
Then bought two more and a super large cage
Four birds went from being afraid of biting to becoming very harmonious
And then I experienced the first death
The first bird died inexplicably after two days
The second bird flew out the window and was never found
The third bird was in a large bucket of water I placed on the windowsill for fish, and it flew in to drink, but the opening was too small, and it drowned
I forget how the fourth bird died
Later someone said I bought all "week birds"…
Then I started buying mynas
The deaths were truly bizarre. I forgot to turn on the range hood while cooking at home
The fifth bird was suffocated to death in the living room
Then I bought another myna
And the sixth bird also died for no apparent reason
The seventh bird was a friend's, left at my house for foster care
The day before, they said, "Don't worry, it'll be fine, I will take good care of it"
The next day, it was scared out the window by a cat and was gone after a long search
This bird was fine after a month at their house
But the next day after coming to my house, it…
Now, the remaining cages, various bird foods, and mealworms at home…
Sometimes I have to believe in mysticism; I guess I’m just not destined to be with birds in this life🥹
