Recently, I compiled nearly ten years of asset return data, and it’s quite interesting. From 2015 to now, the trends of different asset classes are like two completely different worlds.

In the crypto space, although the gains of $BTC and $ETH have been highly volatile, they have indeed outperformed most traditional assets in the long run. What about stocks, real estate, and bonds during the same period? Their returns are stable, but the growth rate is noticeably less aggressive.

Interestingly, investments that seemed insignificant in 2015 have made a huge difference by 2025. This is also why more and more people are starting to reassess asset allocation—relying on a single asset class is no longer enough to keep up with inflation.

Of course, high returns come with high risks. The volatility in the crypto market is evident, and not everyone can accept it. But from a long-term perspective, understanding the historical performance of various assets is quite helpful for rethinking investment strategies.
