#RWA与代币化资产 Seeing the SEC approve the on-chain custody of tokenized assets by DTCC, my first reaction is not excitement, but a reminder for everyone to think calmly.
The transformation of financial markets to on-chain is indeed a major trend, and improvements in transparency and efficiency are tangible. But this is precisely the moment when we need to be more cautious. Tokenizing traditional assets sounds wonderful, but the key question is: are you ready?
I have interacted with many investors who rush in as soon as a new mechanism is launched, only to end up losing everything—it's quite common. Although on-chain assets are highly decentralized, the risks are also amplified—wallet security, smart contract risks, liquidity traps—all present new challenges.
My advice is this: observe first, don't rush. Even innovative projects approved by the SEC need time to verify safety and reliability. If you truly want to participate, you should follow a few bottom lines—no more than 5-10% of your total assets for experimentation, maintain sufficient cash reserves, and regularly review risks.
A long-term mindset is always timeless. This transformation may change the financial landscape, but it cannot alter the core principles of prudent allocation. Leave yourself enough buffer space to go further in this new era.
