That's a nice way to put it, but there are a few issues... The premise of your "pure contribution" is that you're already financially free, right? I raise three kids, so before listening to this kind of argument, I need to make sure your contract code has no vulnerabilities.

Well said, this is the true spirit of on-chain. Too many people are still out there cheering for a certain fund or project, only to delete their tweets once they turn hostile. Architects will always be greater than employees.
