In mid-October, this wave of market movement directly刷新了 many people's understanding of the crypto world. The old approach of "mainstream coins holding the bottom and altcoins creating hot spots" has completely失效了. Currently, the situation is that altcoin liquidity is rapidly drying up, and no one dares to touch them; in contrast, leading coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum have become safe havens in the market. Some people are开始猜测 whether we have entered the "mainstream coin monopoly era."
Let's start with the flow of funds. Recently, the consensus among retail and institutional investors has become increasingly明显——altcoins are too uncertain, and any small fluctuation could lead to total loss. In comparison, Bitcoin and Ethereum, having gone through multiple cycle洗礼, have more成熟的社区、更稳定的技术、 stronger risk resistance. As a result, funds have begun to流向 these leading coins on a large scale. Recent data shows that the market cap share of mainstream coins is持续攀升, which is a典型的 "funds避险" phenomenon.
Another更重要的变化——the mentality of new retail investors has changed. In the past, newcomers entering the圈子 mostly怀揣暴富梦, trying to打拼一把 with altcoins. But after this wave of调整, those who have suffered losses are开始变得理性——they prefer lower收益 rather than face the risk of zeroing out. After new funds come in, they直接奔向 Bitcoin and Ethereum, and the活力 in altcoins自然就被吸干了. The market works like this—where新鲜资金流向, there is vitality; where新资金绕开, it gradually becomes dead water.
However, from another perspective, this变化未必全是坏事. The altcoin市场 once was a混杂的场所, with空气币 and传销盘 everywhere, trapping countless people. This market调整 is akin to a彻底的市场清洗,淘汰掉那些无价值、无前景的altcoin projects, which can actually make the entire生态更加健康. The subsequent competition in the crypto圈 will focus more on projects with真正的技术、应用和社区, which is actually good for the行业's long-term发展.

honestly the whole "altcoin dead" narrative feels overblown... if you look at the data correlation coefficients between btc dominance spikes and actual liquidity farming opportunities, there's still money to be made. people just got risk-averse after getting rekt, which is predictable behavioral finance tbh

Hmm... This wave really stunned a lot of people. The套路 of altcoins is completely no longer playable.
Old seasoned investors are now sleeping with Bitcoin, which is the right way to go.
But to be honest, killing off a batch of worthless coins is actually quite good. It was about time to clear the market.

Haha, it's been obvious for a long time, the scam coin game is completely rotten.
To be honest, this cleanup should have come earlier; those air project teams should have been gone long ago.
I'm just puzzled, is there still anyone willing to all-in on scam coins now?
Instead of betting on those broken projects, it's better to hold tight to the big pancake and sleep peacefully.
Funds have already flowed into the top projects, leaving the rest truly stagnant... Having experienced a zero reset once, there's something to talk about.
This cleanup might really help clear up the crypto space a bit.

Altcoins are really cooling off, and this time is different. In the past, you could still gamble a bit, but now there's no liquidity at all.
Thinking of those brothers who are trapped, actually this liquidation can be considered a form of redemption. It's better than continuing to burn money on air coins.
Speaking of which, Bitcoin and Ethereum's bloodsucking is still quite fierce, and retail investors are now learning to be smarter.
But we have to think about whether the mainstream coins will cool down again after monopolizing the market. It feels like history always repeats itself.

Altcoins are dead, Bitcoin is the real daddy.
---
It's been obvious for a while, this round of cleansing was long overdue.
---
Monopoly era? Basically, it's the start of a淘汰赛 (elimination race), only the fittest survive.
---
It's not wrong to hedge funds, but just don't get washed out too badly.
---
Newbies have finally grown a brain; compared to炒空气币 (speculating on air coins), they're much more honest.
---
Ecological cleansing is also a good thing, at least it can identify who truly has something.
---
It used to be all pyramid schemes, it's indeed time for a cleanup.
---
Mainstream coins are lying and winning, while altcoins can only wish themselves well.
---
The overall trend of the world cannot be stopped.
---
This is what is called the advantage of "living long"; projects that have experienced it are unkillable.

Wake up, wake up, finally someone dares to say that altcoins are dead
Only after experiencing losses do you understand that the dream of getting rich quickly is better replaced by sleeping peacefully
Clearing out trash projects is a good thing, but it has cut many people
Mainstream coins monopolize? Rather than monopolize, it's more like filtering
Funds are flowing into Bitcoin, indicating that most people have become cautious
This round of adjustment is like a big reshuffle, and the landscape has completely changed
Altcoins have lost their vitality, and the crypto circle has indeed returned to rationality
