There's a saying I've always remembered: Reflection and pain are necessary for true progress.

Looking at many people in the trading circle, they lose a single trade and it's over, they move on. Making the same mistake again next time, cycle repeats. Where's the problem? They haven't reflected at all. No principles, no logic, all driven by emotions and market noise. To put it plainly, this is being repeatedly brainwashed by the environment, public opinion, and others' viewpoints, until you no longer even know what you're doing.

It reminds me of a very piercing observation: human consciousness is actually shaped by pervasive subconscious cues. In trading communities, phrases like "Crypto world, one day is like a year" or "Miss this wave and there won't be another chance"—these collective narratives gradually confine your thinking. You think you're thinking independently, but in reality, you've already been restricted within certain dimensions by these invisible influences. You've added shackles to yourself without even realizing it.

But here’s a paradox: even if you realize these limitations, reality may not let you off easily. Living awake in pain, or living in a daze—many choose the latter because it's comfortable. But isn't that just like a machine? At least if you're somewhat awake, you can say you're truly alive.

That's too extreme; they just don't want to admit they're being manipulated and still have to pretend to be sober.

Oh no, that hits too close to home. I'm the kind of person who just moves on after losing... Really, reflection hurts more than losing money, so most people choose to forget. I love the term "brainwashed," because the crypto world is exactly like this dark forest. Would you rather suffer consciously or be numb and comfortable? I thought about this question all night. What's the point of a robot being alive, but being awake is indeed exhausting.

That's so true. The rhetoric in the crypto circle can indeed turn people into walking corpses. Losing money without reflection, and ending up in the same pit next time, isn't that just being boxed in? Living consciously is indeed more exhausting, but it doesn't mean becoming a trading robot.

It's quite sobering, but to be honest, most people simply can't take that step of reflection; it's too exhausting.

There's nothing wrong with what you're saying, but I find that most people simply don't want to reflect because it hurts like hell.

That really hits home. I've repeatedly fallen into the same traps myself. When I lose money, I force myself to say next time I won't do this, but then I turn around and repeat the same actions...

Honestly... I've seen too many people lose money and not think about why, just rushing to find the next opportunity to turn things around, but in the end, they just stay in the same place.
