The fee activation proposal for the ZRO protocol has failed again due to insufficient voting turnout, marking the third consecutive failed referendum.

According to the original plan, once the fee mechanism is activated, the transaction fees generated by the protocol will be automatically converted into ZRO tokens and burned. This design was intended to add practical value to the token. However, the reality is clear—both supporters and opponents lack enough enthusiasm to complete the entire voting process.

The officials have announced that the next round of voting will be postponed for six months. This interval seems somewhat helpless, providing the community with enough time to cool down, but also reflecting the current awkward situation.

What is more worth pondering are the underlying issues exposed: community governance participation continues to decline. No matter how carefully the proposals are designed, if the number of participants does not meet the threshold, everything is effectively zero. This is not just a dilemma for ZRO; many on-chain DAO projects are facing similar challenges—low voter turnout, token holders' low willingness to participate, and inefficient governance decision-making. How to break this cycle? It seems that no particularly effective solution has been seen yet.

Three consecutive voting failures, this is really quite hopeless... It feels like no one cares anymore. Come back in 6 months, by then probably no one will even remember this. DAO governance has truly become a mere formality, who the hell still has the energy to vote?

It's the third time... Is everyone tired? --- ZRO this time is really awkward, can't even get votes --- Six months cooling-off period? I think no one cares anymore --- This is the truth of DAO governance. The promised decentralized voting, but not a single person can gather --- No matter how perfect the design is, people just don't come --- Why does it feel like all projects are repeating this story... --- I really want to know where those big holders' tokens went, why none of them are voting --- Ah, the fee burn design for ZRO is indeed good, but obviously no one cares --- Really, on-chain DAOs are made to feel like empty shells --- In six months, it will probably be the same result, whether to vote or not

Failing three consecutive votes, how little does this guy care? --- Honestly, who still has the mood to vote? There's no reward. --- DAO governance is like this, participation is ridiculously low, and it will be the same after 6 months. --- No matter how good the design is, it’s useless if everyone has left. --- Why does every project in the crypto world fall under this curse... --- Token burning sounds appealing, but in reality, no one cares. --- Wake up, the community is already dead. --- The next round of voting will probably end in another facepalm.

It's the third time, and the voting turnout is really incredible... --- Honestly, the ZRO wave is just because the community isn't enthusiastic; no matter how well designed, it's useless. --- DAO governance is like this; everyone just wants to earn passively without thinking. --- I think, token holders themselves have little desire to participate, and the fee burn mechanism can't motivate anyone. --- Delaying by half a year probably won't help; the core issue is that no one cares. --- Three consecutive failures are indeed a bit outrageous; the community should reflect on this.

It's the third time... Honestly, this is the most embarrassing thing. Even those opposed are too lazy to vote, how boring is that? DAO governance really needs to be reconsidered.
