Recently, a certain BIP proposal on the Bitcoin chain has sparked considerable discussion, especially regarding its impact on inscription assets like ORDI. If this proposal is truly implemented, it could fundamentally undermine the operational logic of the entire BRC-20 inscription ecosystem.

Let's start with the most direct impact. The issuance and transfer of ORDI fundamentally rely on small UTXOs to anchor data. The core operation of this proposal is to mark and freeze small UTXOs below 1000 satoshis. Once marked, these UTXOs become completely unspendable. What does this mean? It means ORDI holders won't even be able to transfer, and transaction functionality will instantly fail, turning their assets into "on-chain zombies."

Next, consider the shock to the ecosystem. Data shows that approximately 29.6% of target small UTXOs are closely related to inscription assets like ORDI. If the proposal is implemented, these UTXOs will be directly removed from the chain, instantly clearing liquidity for a large portion of related holdings. The consequence? The entire BRC-20 inscription ecosystem could plunge into panic selling, with ORDI's price and market cap potentially facing a sharp decline.

The deeper issue lies in the long-term impact. Essentially, this proposal denies the legitimacy of non-monetary data storage on the Bitcoin chain at the consensus level. Once officially approved, the development space for ORDI and similar projects will be completely blocked. Even more concerning, it sets a precedent that "Bitcoin protocol can restrict specific on-chain assets." Who will dare to innovate on-chain in the future? Capital will no longer flow into this field.

However, the good news is that this proposal is still under community discussion, with significant controversy, and even alternative proposals have been put forward. It won't take effect immediately, so there is no direct impact on current ORDI trading. But this serves as a warning signal—the risk factors within the ecosystem are accumulating.

You're trying to scare people again, is ORDI going to fail again? A new story every week. Let's wait until it really gets hammered down, we're still in the trash-talking stage now. Damn, if this really passes, I'm glad I haven't accumulated much ORDI... The BTC community really, one moment wanting to restrict inscriptions, the next doing something else, so annoying. But on the other hand, if 29.6% of UTXOs are truly frozen, then you really have to run, that number is a bit scary. Community discussions have already started to hype it up? By next year, this thing will probably be old news haha. Anyway, my rule is: until it officially lands, treat it as noise. If it's worth playing, then play.

I'm back to watch the show again. This wave of ORDI is really being roasted on the fire. To be honest, BRC20 is just an experimental field; it will get hit sooner or later. 29.6% of UTXOs are directly cleared? That’s a collective liquidation rhythm. Playing around is fine, but we can't really risk our lives. It's outrageous for Bitcoin to do this. Why restrict on-chain innovation? Protocol freezing assets—does that even make sense? It’s not even implemented yet, and this is the scene. Imagine what will happen if it actually passes... I dare not think about it. The alternative proposal is just a thing; the key is whether miners and developers will really vote or not. I think the scariest part isn’t ORDI falling, but who will want to develop new things afterward... Let’s wait and see what happens next. Anyway, it won’t go immediately to GG in the short term, but this warning signal is indeed quite meaningful.

Coming back to ORDI again, is this really going to be the end? It sounds like they want to completely ban inscriptions. 29.6% of UTXOs frozen directly? How many people would be forced to sell? Fortunately, it hasn't passed yet, but who can guarantee... this is a signal, right? Is BTC really going to defend its "purity"? That's a bit much. If it really happens, it sets a precedent; future innovations will have to look at Core's stance. Anyway, I'm scared. This might be the end of inscriptions.

Wait, can UTXOs really be frozen? Isn't that essentially confiscation? That's outrageous. --- 29.6% directly clears liquidity, that number sounds very hopeless. --- Here we go again, every time they say they want to destroy inscriptions, but they keep arguing. --- I just want to know what the alternative proposal is; it can't be more outrageous, right? --- If this really passes, who will dare to innovate in the Bitcoin ecosystem in the future? Capital will withdraw directly. --- The analogy of ORDI becoming a zombie asset—oh wow, that's a bit scary. --- The community discussion has gone on for so long without a conclusion, indicating there are quite a few opposing voices. No need to panic so much. --- Creating a precedent that "protocols can restrict assets" again—this logic is just outrageous. --- No short-term impact, but seeing these risk factors accumulate makes it hard to feel comfortable.

You're just scaring retail investors again. I'm tired of hearing this kind of rhetoric. Someone should have already taken care of these inscription scammers, really. ORDI is doomed, it's written all over your face. Do you really have to wait for a proposal? The BRC20 ecosystem is basically nonexistent. Don't pretend to be so sophisticated. But whether this proposal passes or not doesn't really matter; no one dares to go all-in on this stuff anyway.
