Cryptocurrency exchange BIT recently announced an important business adjustment notice. According to the official notification, due to a shift in business focus, the exchange has decided to gradually reduce its existing operations and officially launch the "User Asset Migration Plan."

BIT officially commits to completing all transparent and traceable user asset migrations within a clear time window. Starting today, the exchange has suspended new user registrations, but existing users can log in normally, view their assets, and participate in the migration process.

Specifically, all spot assets will remain queryable, and spot trading will officially cease on January 31, 2026. For contract trading users, new positions will be halted immediately, with only closing positions allowed. Users who hold contract account balances, open positions, or have unsettled profits and losses on BIT are advised to handle their related positions as soon as possible.

This adjustment means that users holding assets on this exchange need to complete their asset migration within the specified timeframe. It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with the migration process and make appropriate preparations in advance.

Another exchange is about to run away? No, they at least mentioned a migration plan, so they are somewhat conscientious, right? BIT's recent actions are actually quite clear, providing a time window, at least not using the sudden freeze and lock method, which is much more decent than some exchanges. By the way, it's fine to run before January 2026. Handling contract positions now is really a bit annoying. Anyway, I already withdrew early. This year has really been turbulent for exchanges. Why does it seem like everyone is "adjusting their business direction"? Is this a secret code? Users should pay attention now. Don't wait until the last day to remember the migration. By then, it might be too late to even cry.

"orderly wind down" lmao, love how they always dress up exit liquidity problems with corporate speak. anyway, validator attrition hitting exchanges now? guess diversifying your staking across multiple clients suddenly looks less silly.

Another exchange is exiting the market, but BIT this time has been relatively transparent, at least providing a time window, unlike some exchanges that just run away without warning.

Another exchange has gone down? At least this time it's a bit more transparent, not outright running away, right?

Another one is about to run away? BIT's recent actions are indeed a bit rushed, the contract directly closed new positions... --- "Gradual reduction" is just a euphemism, luckily I didn't go all in here --- Trading won't stop until January next year, giving people time to react? But I need to quickly close my contract positions --- Transparent, traceable? Just listen, you need to be cautious yourself --- The asset migration plan sounds great, but the key is whether they are sincere... here comes another one
