Recent discussions about Ethereum have heated up again, with the core voice suggesting that this public chain might surprise the entire market.

Honestly, based on the performance after the merge, Ethereum's energy efficiency improvements are clearly visible. The enhanced transaction experience mainly comes from the rollout of Layer2 solutions—whether it's Optimistic Rollups or zk-Rollups—both are effectively addressing congestion issues. Currently, staking yields within the ecosystem remain stable, and developer activity and total locked value continue to grow, which are hard indicators.

The most interesting developments are in cutting-edge technologies like account abstraction and privacy protocols. They are reshaping infrastructure, enabling the ecosystem to support more complex application scenarios. In simple terms, Ethereum is gradually evolving from a pure settlement layer into a multi-faceted ecosystem.

Each technological iteration expands its capability ceiling. When the entire industry discusses the next-generation internet, Ethereum's practical path offers a reference model. Can this chain become the infrastructure of this era? It's still too early to tell, but judging by the pace of technological evolution, at least the direction is correct.

This wave of technical upgrades after the merge is indeed impressive, and the speed of Layer2 ecosystem expansion is faster than expected. However, whether it truly becomes infrastructure depends on the subsequent ecosystem's capacity. It's still too early to say it's a surprise.

After Layer 2 deployment, the TPS data indeed looks good, but the key is how long the staking yield stability can be maintained.

Hey, not really. This L2 move is actually quite something. Bet on ETH to turn things around.

Layer 2 is starting to see volume, but I'm more concerned about when the gas fees will truly become cheap.

Layer 2 is truly much better after its rise; being a thousand times faster than before is no exaggeration.

actually, the algorithmic elegance of eth's rollup architecture is precisely what separates genuine infrastructure from vapor marketing... layer2 solutions aren't just throughput optimization, they're reshaping the entire hash value distribution model of blockchain primitives
