#加密资产监管 Wow, a $15 billion private key was just broken??? Americans really hit the jackpot 😭
I just took a close look at the Milk Sad incident. My goodness, back in 2020, someone was mining with a weak random number generator, causing over 130,000 BTC to be in that private key range, as if it wasn’t locked at all. Then on December 28, 2020, it was directly emptied in one go, worth $3.7 billion, everyone.
The most outrageous part is that no one realized at the time that it was theft, and they thought it was just the mining pool management dumping. It wasn’t until 2023, when other projects also had similar vulnerabilities, that someone went back to trace the historical data and discovered Lubian’s dark history.
Now, this matter has only been prosecuted jointly by the FBI and the UK against the Prince Group, and the sleeping giant whale has been pulled out again. The most heartbreaking thing for us traders is a phrase: "Not your Wallet, Not Your Money"—but now this phrase needs a prefix, and it must be based on sufficiently secure random number generation.
In plain terms, don’t mess with unknown small wallet tools, and don’t use outdated versions either. This incident gives us the biggest warning: security really can’t be compromised 🔐
