Analyst Ben Cowen: Ethereum Will Struggle to Reach New Highs in 2026
December 26, According to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen stated on the Bankless podcast that considering Bitcoin's current market conditions, Ethereum is unlikely to hit new highs in 2026.
Cowen pointed out that if Bitcoin is indeed in a bear market, Ethereum will find it difficult to rally. Even if ETH returns to its historical high of $4,878, it could be a "bull trap," with the price potentially dropping sharply back to $2,000 afterward.
