【BitPush】Interesting news — Web3 ride-hailing app TADA is coming to the United States. According to Forbes, the project plans to officially launch in New York in June next year, aiming to carve out a niche in the traditional taxi market with high commissions.
What is their approach? “Zero commission.” Unlike other platforms that charge over 25% in fees, TADA only charges drivers a fixed software fee—about $0.78 to $0.92 per ride. By connecting drivers and passengers directly through smart contracts, eliminating middlemen, the result is that drivers earn more, passengers pay less, and the platform becomes more transparent. Sounds ideal? But they have already captured 11.1% of the market in Singapore and are expanding into markets like Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
Currently, TADA is running a pilot in Denver, USA. Co-founder Kay Woo stated that they aim to provide a “real alternative” to markets that are currently profiting excessively.
Some may ask: Can this truly shake up the U.S. ride-hailing market? Let’s wait and see. Web3’s payment efficiency and transparency are indeed advantages, but whether they can break through in scale and user habits depends on how they proceed next.

Zero commission sounds pretty appealing, but I'm worried that once I get to New York, I'll be overwhelmed by all kinds of regulations.

Zero commission sounds good, but can it really shake the two giants Uber and Lyft? Let's try it out in New York and see how long it lasts.

Zero commission sounds great, but I'm just worried it's all a scam in the end. Uber and Lyft probably boast the same thing, right?

Another zero-commission dream? Uber is still charging high fees, and this guy is going straight for smart contracts... That's pretty interesting.
Zero-commission ride-hailing app TADA is about to enter New York City, is Web3 reshaping the ride-hailing market?
