Hyper Foundation has just announced an important governance decision. The HYPE in the Assistance Fund system address has been officially confirmed to be burned.

This vote used a staking weight method for counting. The final result is quite clear—85% of voters support the burn, 7% oppose, and 8% abstain. It can be seen that community support for this decision is quite high.

Earlier, Hyper Foundation proposed that validators formally vote to confirm the HYPE in the Assistance Fund. After this round of voting, the proposal has been officially implemented. From a tokenomics perspective, burning usually means a reduction in circulating supply, and such decisions often impact the long-term value expectations of the token.

An 85% support rate is quite high; I'm still a bit surprised. But as for the move to burn supply... how long can it last?

85% is truly an absolute majority... If this destruction can boost the market, it would be incredible.

85% approval for destruction, this level of consensus is indeed incredible... But can it really boost the market? It still depends on whether there are other positive factors later on.
