$ETH $BIFI $ZBT Ethereum is about to undergo a major overhaul! The upgrade in 2026 could be larger in scale than you imagine.
This change is called the Glamsterdam fork, and it’s definitely not a routine patch. It’s a systematic overhaul of Ethereum’s underlying architecture.
Two key points, each very hardcore:
1. True parallel transaction processing is here Imagine all current transactions are queued through a single checkout channel. After the upgrade, the network can run multiple parallel channels simultaneously. The throughput per unit time will skyrocket, transactions will no longer bottleneck each other, and user experience will be much smoother. The side effect is that Gas costs are expected to decrease due to efficiency improvements—this is great news for DeFi interactions and blockchain game users.
2. Block Gas limit increases by more than 3 times Currently, the Gas limit per block is about 60 million. After the upgrade, it will be directly raised to 200 million. What does this mean? The number of transactions a block can carry and the complexity of contracts can both increase by an order of magnitude. NFT projects, DeFi protocols, and on-chain applications will suddenly have much more room to grow. The ceiling of the ecosystem is truly being lifted.
The core is three words: fast, powerful, scalable.
This is not just a version update; it’s laying the infrastructure in advance for a user base of millions and the explosive growth of DApps. The new capacity and latency advantages will inevitably attract some yet-to-emerge application forms and leading projects. The prelude to the next wave of ecosystem prosperity may have already begun.

Wait, where does the name Glamsterdam come from? Amsterdam is so bizarre? Haha, laughing to death
Is the 200 million Gas limit true? If it really happens, DeFi will explode
If Gas fees can be reduced, I will buy like crazy
I'll hold and see, 2026 is still far away anyway
The NFT market should turn around; this time it might really not be just hype
Parallel processing sounds awesome but I still don’t quite understand how to use it
For the track, it should be Layer2 stuff that will face pressure, right?
With infrastructure upgrades, new projects will outcompete old ones
If Gas really drops to half of what it was, the tokens in my hands will skyrocket, just waiting
Feels like another crypto scam, hype first, talk later, upgrades are always next year
The block capacity doubling, how much news do we need to digest that?
Chain games should be the most exciting, now Gas is so annoying

2026 is still far away, but this upgrade sounds really top-notch. Gas fees drop, DeFi players are ecstatic.
I just want to ask, can the mainnet really run multiple parallel chains stably without crashing?
Glamsterdam, that name sounds quite casual haha.
Gas fees tripled, it seems like trash coins have a chance to survive again...
Isn't this just the story of L2 being replayed on the mainnet? But I do look forward to seeing it.

Parallel processing + Gas reduction? DeFi is really about to take off, my goodness
---
2026 still feels far away, but I feel like I’m about to crazily scoop up those suppressed layer2 projects
---
Gas space triples, NFT projects can finally breathe, this is so timely
---
Honestly, I’m more optimistic about this upgrade’s impact on chain games, the transaction fees are indeed outrageous
---
Quick and strong can be built, it sounds like a tailor-made solution for large-scale applications, awesome
---
Wait, can this really run stably or is it another case of technical hype
---
DeFi lending protocols will definitely benefit first, gas costs are their biggest pain point
---
The ceiling has been lifted, this statement might be a bit exaggerated, but it is indeed a qualitative breakthrough

Oh my god, Gas fees are directly halved? My DeFi compound interest dream is finally taking off!
---
2026 can't wait anymore, I want to go all in right now, brother!
---
Parallel processing, to put it simply, Ethereum is finally no longer that tangled mess, right?
---
NFT projects are probably going to scramble for block space, just imagine that scene... awesome
---
Something's off, why does this scale upgrade feel a bit too optimistic? Have there been any pitfalls in history?
---
DeFi liquidity mining transaction fees are about to plummet, now I can interact every day without worrying about the cost!
---
Can blockchain games really turn around with this? I've been cut too many times, I’m a bit skeptical...
---
Lower Gas fees = more retail investors entering = the ecosystem is really about to take off, this logic makes sense, right?
---
Triple Gas limit? Those complex contracts can finally shake off on-chain trash, the ecosystem quality is top-notch!

Glamsterdam is really coming, and I can't wait for this upgrade in 2026. Gas fees will be cut by two-thirds, for sure.
This time, ETH is serious, with parallel processing and Gas tripling, the DeFi ecosystem will directly take off.
But to be honest, compared to ETH itself, I prefer those Layer 2 projects. I feel like Arc might face a dimensionality reduction blow.
Wait, is the name Glamsterdam copied from the Netherlands? Haha.
As for the track, DeFi and blockchain games will definitely be the first to benefit, while NFTs might be pushed out.

Hmm... Lowering Gas fees directly, DeFi is indeed about to take off
Wait, can Glamsterdam really launch on time? 2026 is still a long way off
NFTs and blockchain games will definitely benefit, but don’t get too optimistic—history tends to prove us wrong
Parallel processing sounds powerful, but the real bottleneck is still at the consensus layer. Feels like there's a bit too much hype
Doubling throughput... Layer2s are going to cry, haha
Entering now to gamble on this upgrade feels a bit too early; the market hasn't reacted yet
A drop in Gas fees is truly spring for羊毛党, and promotional campaigns are coming
Is the ecological ceiling about to be lifted? The prerequisite is having truly killer apps, which we haven't seen yet
A 3x Gas limit sounds impressive, but the real bottleneck is verification time, okay?
I agree that DeFi will benefit first, but who can predict where the next leader will be?

Wait, is Glamsterdam really the name? It sounds like the name of a Dutch nightclub haha
Gas tripled, now DeFi's fun is really going to be big, just worried it will be eaten up by miners again
What I'm really looking forward to is parallel processing. The current queuing is really annoying.
