Market calmness doesn't mean you should go offline. You still need to watch the charts and gauge the market sentiment.
The biggest mistake most people make is — trading out of boredom, with fingers moving faster than the brain. What you should really do is exercise patience, do nothing until a solid opportunity presents itself.
Observe how the price reacts to news, and find that truly worthwhile moment to act.

tbh most traders don't have the discipline for this. they see flat charts and their dopamine receptors start screaming for action, then boom—liquidated. the irony is the best alpha comes from literally doing nothing while everyone else panic-clicks

You're right, but you have to hold back your hand, or you'll lose even faster by acting impulsively.

nah tbh the hardest part is literally doing nothing... my liquidation ptsd still acts up whenever charts go sideways lol. patience isn't sexy but it's the only thing that saved me from full portfolio wipeout fr

The market deadwater period is the easiest to reveal, only the tough ones can resist not acting.

The quiet period truly tests your mindset. It's really difficult to stay optimistic without taking action, but that's the difference in making money.

Sounds good, but are you really observing market reactions? I've been monitoring on-chain data for half a year, and 90% of the "opportunities" are actually just whales shaking out their holdings. Retail investors think they've seen the truth, but they've actually been wiped out in a round of manipulation.
