PANews, December 1 news, according to official sources, the Ontology Mainnet v3.0.0 version will officially go live on December 1, 2025. All nodes must upgrade to v3.0.0 by December 3 at 08:00 (UTC+8) to avoid service interruptions. The total supply of ONG and the max supply changes will occur at a Block Height of approximately 19,500,000 (expected on December 15). Please complete the upgrade before the deadline. According to previous news, after this upgrade, the maximum and total supply of Ontology Gas (ONG) will be reduced from 1 billion to 800 million, with 200 million tokens being burned immediately; the circulating supply of Ontology Gas (ONG) will not change immediately, but the future supply cap may be limited to 750 million due to a permanent locking mechanism.
