The global remote sensing distributed network (GEODNET) is the largest RTK network in the world. Real-Time Kinematics (RTK) is the next-generation positioning service signal, which is 100 times more accurate than standalone global positioning systems, with an absolute positioning accuracy of 1 centimeter.
GEODNET has established a spatial meteorological mining station network using the DePIN principle, which reports in real-time the impact of solar wind on global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals and generates RTK signals. This data is typically used for precise correction of global navigation satellite system signals to provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy and improve absolute time accuracy to the nanosecond level.
