After that, CZ gradually formed a work style centered on “high efficiency,” including compressing meeting lengths, reducing ineffective communication, and focusing on quickly executing projects. This stage of change became an important turning point in CZ’s personal and career development, and it has long influenced his subsequent management and operations style. In his new book, CZ repeatedly mentioned that “success that is slightly above average is the most dangerous,” because after achieving some small wins, people tend to let their guard down. On the surface, it looks like he’s doing better than many people around him, but only he knows: he never really went all out.
