Polygon mainnet will undergo the Giugliano upgrade on April 8th. Nodes need to upgrade as soon as possible.

BlockBeats message, April 7, according to an official announcement from the Polygon Foundation, the Giugliano hard fork upgrade will take place on the Polygon mainnet at block height 85,268,500 at around 22:00 Beijing time on April 8.

This upgrade will bring the following improvements:

By allowing producers to announce blocks earlier to achieve faster finality;

Adding fee parameters directly into the block header;

Introducing a new RPC interface to support fee data.

The official notice reminds all node operators that they must upgrade Bor to version v2.7.0, or upgrade Erigon to version v3.5.0, to ensure normal operation.
