BlockBeats news, April 1, Cosmos ecosystem project Neutron announced that NTRN redemption is now live. Holders can permanently destroy their held NTRN in exchange for their pro-rata share of the USDC pool. The NTRN deposit window runs from April 1 to April 30, and USDC redemption requests will open on May 1 and close on June 30. The NTRN held by the foundation (estimated at about 32.4 million tokens) will not participate in the redemption and will be burned.
Earlier news, Cosmos ecosystem project Neutron announced that it will transition to a long-term maintenance mode. The DEX and Supervault will pause and enter withdrawal-only mode no later than April 17. Hadron Labs will be responsible for network maintenance until June 30, 2026, after which it will release a manual withdrawal guide. Governance will transition from a custom system to the standard Cosmos staking model, inflation will be dynamically adjusted, and the validator set will be reduced.
