Gate News report, on March 30, the Financial Times of the UK reported that U.S. President Trump expressed his desire to “seize Iran’s oil resources,” and may even occupy Khark Island (a significant oil export hub for Iran). Meanwhile, the U.S. has deployed thousands of soldiers to the Middle East. Trump also compared this potential action to the situation in Venezuela. Trump stated, “To be honest with you, the thing I want to do most is get oil from Iran, but some idiots in the U.S. are saying, ‘Why would you do that?’ But they are just a bunch of idiots. Maybe we’ll occupy Khark Island, maybe we won’t. We have a lot of options. That also means we have to stay on Khark Island for a while.”
