BlackRock: Institutions Focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum, AI Viewed as Key Driver for Crypto Markets

Goldman Sachs reports that on March 25, Robbie Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets at BlackRock, stated that institutional investors are focusing their crypto allocations on Bitcoin and Ethereum, with limited interest in most other tokens, citing a lack of long-term value. He also pointed out that artificial intelligence will become a more important long-term driver than cryptocurrencies and emphasized that cryptocurrencies, as “computer-native currencies,” have a natural synergy with AI’s “computer-native data and intelligence.”
