BTC-3,06%

Gate News Report, March 22 — Due to rising energy prices and tense Middle East tensions, Bitcoin mining costs continue to increase. Data shows that the current average cost to produce one BTC is approximately $88,000, while the Bitcoin price is around $69,200, resulting in miners losing nearly $19,000 per BTC, with an overall loss rate of about 21%. Meanwhile, the network’s mining difficulty has decreased by approximately 7.8%, the second-largest drop within 2026, and the hash rate has fallen back to around 920 EH/s. The average block time has extended to over 12 minutes. If miners are forced to sell Bitcoin to sustain operations, it could put downward pressure on the market.
