CME FedWatch Tool Shows 7.2% Probability of Fed Rate Hike in April

Gate News, March 19th, according to the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) FedWatch tool, the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points (0.25%) in April stands at 7.2%, while the likelihood of maintaining current rates is 92.8%. Looking ahead to June, the tool indicates a 9.2% chance of a cumulative 25-basis-point rate increase, a 0.2% probability of a 50-basis-point hike, and a 90.6% likelihood that rates will remain unchanged.
