Monday, December 15, 2025, will be remembered by many as an important milestone. I will be at work when the Bittensor halving takes place. I wish everyone who can follow the event live lots of fun! By the way, the most reliable countdown is supposedly the one from TAO dot app.

I think some people will celebrate the TAO halving too early or miss it altogether. Three different websites give three completely different estimates of when the halving will take place. 4 to 6 days. Oh well 😄

Like Bitcoin's halving, Bittensor's won't spike $TAO instantly. Pre-halving "easy" tokens will dominate sell pressure a while. Only later, when new half-rate TAOs form most of the flow, will each sale hurt twice as much. Real impact is delayed, not absent.

My take on the Bittensor emission halving: Short term: No significant effect on $TAO. Longterm: 📈💣💥
