Resolv Labs upgrades the contract to destroy the 36.73 million USR held by hackers.
ME News report. On April 6 (UTC+8), according to on-chain analyst Yu Yan monitoring, about an hour ago, Resolv Labs destroyed 36.73 million USR tokens held by hackers through a contract upgrade. The hackers minted 80 million USR through a minting vulnerability without collateral. Of these, about 34 million USR were sold off by the hackers in exchange for 11,409 ETH (representing $24.48 million), stored at address 0x8ED…81C. Additionally, about 46 million USR were burned by the Resolv project team through a contract upgrade from the hacker address. The actual loss from this vulnerability exploitation incident is estimated at $34 million. (Source: ChainCatcher)
