《The Great Chives Memoirs》
—————————This isn’t a course; it’s a confession by the chives!
—————————After taking these 30 cuts, you’ll lose less than the cost of a car!
📅Cut #3 🔪
《Your take-profit line always moves upward, and your stop-loss line always moves downward》
When you open the position, you swear it: take profit at 10 points, stop loss at 5 points. The price rises by 8 points—just one step away from your take-profit. You tell yourself: the trend is so good; taking profit would be a pity—so move it up to 15 points. The price drops back. Your floating profit turns into floating loss. You tell yourself: I didn’t exit when it was 8 points earlier, so exiting now would be too costly—wait to break even. The price keeps falling until it reaches your stop-loss line. You hesitate: since it’s already down to here, shouldn’t it be over? The stop-loss line moves down to 8 points. The price falls again, and you move it again. Your take-profit line is like clouds in the sky— the more it drifts, the farther away it gets. Your stop-loss line is like a pit on the ground—the more it’s dug, the deeper it gets. In the end, the take-profit line disappears into the horizon, and the stop-loss line turns into the zero line. You’re not without a plan—you’re just creating a new plan every time to overturn the previous one. Your plans are never truly carried out; they’re only props you use to comfort yourself when you open the trade. I’ve taken this cut. What about you?
