Founder and Chairman of the China-Europe Digital Association: The Chinese approach makes a positive contribution to global governance of artificial intelligence

At present, artificial intelligence is entering a development stage where technological breakthroughs accelerate alongside widespread adoption. At the same time, issues such as lagging governance and risks spilling over have become increasingly prominent. China has always adhered to the principle of developing alongside ensuring security, providing practical and feasible approaches to address global AI governance challenges. In recent years, China has successively released the “Global AI Governance Initiative” and the “Global Action Plan on AI Governance,” putting forward China’s proposals for global AI governance. Recently, regarding these issues, the founding chair of the China-Europe Digital Association and Italian economist Luigi Gambardella was interviewed by a reporter from CGTN’s “Global Insights” program.
