Abstract generation in progress

A consortium of private equity firms, Blackstone, Carlyle Group, and Hellman & Friedman LLC, along with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), are offering 75 million shares of Medline Inc.'s Class A common stock. This secondary offering, valued at $3.4 billion, will not generate proceeds for Medline itself, but rather for the selling stockholders. Medline, a major provider of medical-surgical products, saw its stock decline 4.6% after the announcement, though it remains up nearly 7% year-to-date.
