Abstract generation in progress

April 6, multiple travel platforms show that orders for overseas inbound tourism have increased by 70%-100%. During the Qingming holiday, inbound tourism continued the growth momentum seen since the Spring Festival, further highlighting a trend of shifting from “traffic” to “quality.” According to Ctrip data, during the Qingming period, the number of inbound tourism users’ orders increased year over year by nearly double, and for play and entertainment categories, the users’ order volume grew by more than 20 times. The effect of the visa-free policy continues to build: among the top 20 source countries/regions for inbound arrivals, 15 are visa-free countries. The number of orders from visitors in visa-free countries compared with last Qingming increased markedly year over year, with the growth rate nearly 3 times that of non-visa-free countries; ticket and entertainment orders purchased in China by visitors from visa-free countries also showed impressive growth, with the growth rate exceeding 7 times that of non-visa-free countries. The “multiplier effect” dividend of the visa-free policy, along with growth potential, is expected to keep being released. (The Paper)
