On the 27th local time, the Deputy Governor of Isfahan Province responsible for security affairs in Iran stated that 26 people were killed in an attack on the Heftoun residential area of Isfahan the day before. It is said that Heftoun is a typical workers' residential area, and the victims were all residents living in the area. Additionally, the Ziar and Apadana neighborhoods in Isfahan were also attacked. These two attacks did not result in any casualties, only a few citizens were injured. (CCTV News)

It is said that because Haftun is a typical workers’ residential area, all those killed were residents living in that area.
