On January 14, Noise announced the completion of a $7.1 million seed round, led by Paradigm. Previously, the company had also received investment support from Figment Capital and Anagram, as well as GSR, JPEG Trading, and KaitoAI, among others.

On April 1, Noise posted on X to announce that the beta version is now live.

Project Overview

Miden is an Ethereum L2 scaling solution focused on privacy computation. The core technology behind Miden is a zero-knowledge rollup, built on top of Ethereum, using the Miden VM to execute transactions. It supports parallel transaction execution and client-side proofs, emphasizing privacy and high throughput. Unlike traditional blockchains, Miden moves computation to the user side: users execute locally and prove the transaction, and only submit the proof on-chain.

At the end of April this year, Miden announced the completion of a $25 million seed round, co-led by the crypto division of a16z, Hack VC, and 1kx. Other investors include well-known angel investors such as Finality Capital Partners, Symbolic Capital, and Avery Ching, co-founder of Aptos.
