Hezbollah claims to have used cruise missiles to hit an Israeli military ship.
People’s Finance and News, April 5—On April 5, Hezbollah in Lebanon issued a statement, saying it is acting to defend Lebanon and its people, and responding to the Israel Defense Forces’ continued bombardment of villages and cities, destruction of infrastructure, and the expulsion of civilians. At 0:05 a.m. local time on April 5, Hezbollah launched an attack in waters 68 nautical miles off the coast of Lebanon against an Israeli warship that was preparing to attack Lebanese territory. Hezbollah said the strike was carried out using a cruise missile after several hours of monitoring of the target, and that it confirmed a direct hit. In recent weeks, Israeli warships have launched attacks on Lebanese territory multiple times. Israel has not yet responded. (CCTV News)
