Iran accuses Israel and the United States of acts of state terrorism by attacking Iranian steel companies

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Irawani, sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council, accusing the U.S. and Israeli fighter jets of striking Iran’s Mobarake Steel Plant and the Khuzestan Steel Company, calling the act a blatant violation of international law and constituting state terrorism. In the letter, Irawani said that the U.S.-Israel deliberate attacks on Iran’s non-military infrastructure are an evident manifestation of state terrorism, and that there is evidence showing these strikes are intended to undermine Iran’s economic capacity and violate international humanitarian law. He noted that such conduct constitutes a war crime and that the relevant individuals should bear legal responsibility. (CCTV News)
