Wu Shuo has learned that according to ZachXBT's disclosure, Circle froze USDC balances in hot wallets across 16 different business operations late yesterday. The user stated that they have communicated directly with one of the affected businesses, which claimed the freeze is related to an undisclosed U.S. civil case. ZachXBT believes these wallets involving exchanges, casinos, forex and other operations have no obvious connections to each other, questioning whether Circle adequately reviewed the freeze request; and stated that the relevant wallets are operational hot wallets used by businesses to process large volumes of user transactions, with the freeze already impacting their daily operations.
