The Zhitong Finance App learned that MONGOL MINING (00975) rose nearly 6%, up 5.88% to HK$13.32 as of press time, with a turnover of HK$16.7093 million.
On the news side, recently, MONGOL MINING announced that it expects the Group to achieve a comprehensive net profit of approximately US$5 million to US$15 million for the year ended December 31, 2025.
According to the announcement, the decline in profit was mainly due to the decline in the sales price of washed coking coal in 2025 and the one-time loss caused by the early redemption of senior notes due in 2026 at a redemption price of 109.27% in 2025.
Although the Group’s financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025 were affected by the above factors, the Board believes that the Group is currently well-funded and has a stable cash position, and still has the ability and conditions to strive to achieve its strategic and operating objectives.
